More than a hundred years ago, millions of Europeans sought refuge on the banks of the Rio de la Plata. The confrontation with the population and culture present yielded a new music and dance form: the Tango.
With own translations of a selection of the hundreds of tango & #8217; s written since then, actor / singer Kees Scholten, composer / pianist Margreet Markerink and violinist Emmy Storms take you to a world of harbor bars, rental barracks, brothels and the soul of people who have the courage to leave.
