Since they lost their heart to tango, Trio Tangata has not only penetrated the secrets of music, but also the world behind it. A different culture that is far away and yet miraculously close. They have traveled to the country where the tango was born; Argentina. In Argentina they got to know the celebrities of the tango world, such as Horacio Ferrer, who wrote the lyrics of many successful tango & ballads by Astor Piazolla. This poet said the waltz & #8216; Te quiero / I love you & #8217; with music by Margreet Markerink and lyrics by José Rivero, it had touched him deeply. A magical moment.
The musicians of Trio Tangata have really been in contact with Buenos Aires, & #8216; the queen of the Plata river & #8217 ;. They walked around and performed in a Tango Theater Show in the traditional Plermo neighborhood. That experience gives a special shine to this second CD by Trio Tangata:
Historias del Sur / stories of the South.
