Sunday morning concert Cuarteto Tangata: Andrea Bentivoglio (violin), Jacqueline Edeling (bandoneon), Margreet Markerink (piano) and Boris Franz (double bass).

Cuarteto Tangata consists of four musicians, who have specialized in Argentine tango for many years. They interpret the compositions of tango estos such as Piazzolla, Plaza and Pugliese in their own way.
In addition, Cuarteto Tangata plays own tango compositions, written by the pianist of the quartet, Margreet Markerink.
Nostalgia, melancholy, but also exuberant and driving rhythms characterize their music. Cuarteto Tangata performed on many stages, at tango festivals and in concert halls, at home and abroad, from Tuscany to Buenos Aires.

Violinist Andrea Bentivoglio was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied in Argentina and then in Gstaad and in Augsburg. In 1990 she graduated as Performing Musician with Herman Krebbers at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam.

Jacqueline Edeling is an expert in the field of bellows instruments. She plays almost every bellows instrument in every conceivable style. A definitive choice for tango music has ensured a complete dedication to the bandoneon.

Pianist Margreet Markerink After her conservatory studies, she specialized in Argentine tango music. Inspired by different musical styles, from classical to jazz and Balkan music, her compositions are original without losing the tango feeling.

The double bass player born in Bonn, Germany Boris Franz studied Jazz double bass at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Already during this study he studied tango music. He played in various tango ensembles and thereby won international prizes.
